Auger Impact Award 2025

We congratulate our colleagues 

Marcos Cerda and Emanuele De Vito

on receiving the Auger Impact Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions towards the objectives of the Auger Observatory.

 

We are pleased to present this award to

  • Marcos Cerda (Staff Pierre Auger Observatory, Argentina)
    He played a crucial role in the successful deployment of the radio detector, supporting the project throughout its R&D phase and ensuring its successful commissioning. He acted as a proactive bridge between the Malargüe staff and the scientists.

  • Emanuele De Vito (Università del Salento and INFN Lecce, Italy)
    He demonstrated a strong commitment to producing service work for the collaboration, both technically and for analyses in the context of MM task. He played a key role in the process of migrating Auger data from the CC in Lyon to the INFN-CNAF
    data center, in Bologna.
